Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is seeking a skilled Machine Shop Manager for our Skelmersdale site. Lead a team in a busy CNC environment, focusing on lathes and milling, with responsibility for programming Fanuc machines and delivering bespoke projects on time.

You will coordinate with engineers and management to resolve technical issues, ensure quality control, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining safe, efficient production.

Qualifications

• Experience with Fanuc machining and programming on lathes and mills.
• Ability to manage projects from conception to delivery.

Responsibilities

• Manage the machine shop floor and coordinate production.
• Liaise with management and project engineers to resolve technical issues.
• Plan and monitor quality and quantities to ensure timely delivery.
• Code and program Fanuc machines for bespoke builds.
