Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment are recruiting for a Machine Shop Manager role near Skelmersdale. You will lead a dedicated team of experts in CNC milling and lathes, driving quality and on-time delivery within a family‑feel manufacturing business.

The ideal candidate will have CNC programming experience for bespoke builds, strong supervisory skills and a proven track record in machine shop leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience programming CNC machines for bespoke builds.
• Must be local to Skelmersdale and able to commute.
• Proven supervisory or management experience in a machine shop.

Responsibilities

• Manage the machine shop floor and oversee production.
• Liaise with management and project engineers to resolve technical issues.
• Plan and monitor quality and quantities to ensure on-time delivery.
