Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited are partnering with a manufacturing client in Skelmersdale to recruit a Workshop Supervisor (CNC). You will take control of the machine shop floor, manage a dedicated team of experts in CNC milling and lathes, and act as the go-to technical expert.

Key duties include programming Fanuc machines for bespoke builds, coordinating with engineers, and ensuring quality and on-time delivery, with overtime and progression opportunities in a family-feel business.

Qualifications

• Experience in CNC machining, milling and lathes with supervisory or management background.
• Proven machine programming experience, preferably Fanuc controls for bespoke builds.
• Located near Skelmersdale and available for a leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Manage the machine shop floor and lead a team of experts.
• Coordinate with management and project engineers to resolve issues.
• Plan and monitor quality and production to meet project targets.
• Code and program Fanuc machines for bespoke builds.
