Gregory Martin International Limited is seeking a skilled CNC Turner Setter Programmer for a workshop-based role in West Byfleet. You will program, set and operate CNC lathes to produce precision components, often working with exotic materials while maintaining tight tolerances and quality.
Overtime and shift work may be required; PPE is mandatory. The role requires experience in CNC turning, programming, reading drawings with GD&T, and familiarity with inspection and quality processes.
Salary - up to £46K plus bonus, overtime and pension, plus many other benefits.

They are seeking a skilled CNC Turner to join their manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC lathes to produce precision components to tight tolerances, often working with exotic and high-performance materials. This role requires a strong focus on quality, accuracy, and efficiency in a high-spec engineering environment. This role reports to the Machine Shop Manager.
Workshop-based precision machining environment. PPE is required at all times. Overtime and shift work may be required depending on workload.
Proven experience as a CNC Turner.
Experience machining exotic materials and difficult alloys.
Ability to machine complex components to tight tolerances.
CNC programming experience.
Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T.
Understanding of tooling and machining strategies.
Experience with inspection and quality processes.
Strong attention to detail.
Engineering apprenticeship or equivalent.
Experience in aerospace, oil & gas or defence sectors.
Familiarity with CAD/CAM software.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing.
Problem-solving skills.

Set, program and operate CNC turning machines.
Manufacture components to tight tolerances (typically within microns).
Work with exotic materials such as Inconel, Titanium, Hastelloy, Duplex and other alloys.
Interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds and feeds.
Conduct in-process inspection using precision measuring equipment.
Ensure all parts meet quality standards.
Troubleshoot Machining issues and make adjustments.
Follow safety procedures.
