Job summary

Syntech Recruitment Ltd is supporting a well-established precision engineering manufacturer in recruiting a skilled CNC Turner to join their growing machine shop team. You will program, set and operate CNC turning machines to produce precision components, including exotic alloys, with tight tolerances.

The role offers opportunities to work on challenging materials like Inconel, Titanium and Hastelloy, reading engineering drawings, selecting tooling and optimizing machining strategies.

Qualifications

• Experience programming, setting and operating CNC turning machines.
• Experience machining exotic materials or difficult alloys.
• Ability to work to tight tolerances.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Experience using inspection equipment.

Responsibilities

• Programming, setting and operating CNC turning machines using Fanuc and ISO controls.
• Produce precision components to tight tolerances.
• Machine exotic materials including Inconel, Titanium and Hastelloy.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specs.
• Select tooling, speeds, feeds and machining strategies.
• Conduct in-process inspection with precision measuring equipment.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and adjust processes.
• Maintain quality throughout manufacturing.
• Work safely in a precision engineering environment.

CNC Turner

Salary: Up to £46,000 per annum
Location: Near West Byfleet (but moving to Woking within 6-12 months)
Hours: Monday - Friday, 07:00 - 15:30

Syntech Recruitment are supporting a well-established precision engineering manufacturer who are looking to recruit an experienced CNC Turner to join their growing machine shop team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a programmer, setter and operator who enjoys working to tight tolerances and machining challenging materials including Inconel, Titanium, Hastelloy and Duplex alloys.

What You'll Be Doing
