Job summary

theagencygroup is working with a fantastic client based in Coalville, seeking a CNC Turner Setter/Operator to join them permanently. You’ll set and operate CNC turning machines using Fanuc or Heidenhain controls, edit programs, and rotate between 1–2 machines.

The role offers a competitive hourly rate (£17.00–£18.50) with overtime at time and a half after 39 hours. Shifts are Monday–Thursday 6:00am–2:30pm and Friday 6:00am–1:30pm, with a clear career path in a well‑run shop.

Qualifications

• Hands-on CNC turning experience with Fanuc or Heidenhain controls.
• Ability to set and operate turning machines confidently.
• Pride in producing quality components and keeping machines in order.

Responsibilities

• Setting and operating CNC turning machines using Fanuc or Heidenhain controls.
• Editing existing programs and working with the team to improve them.
• Rotating between 1–2 machines depending on workload.
• Working from engineering drawings to produce quality components.
• Keeping the machine area clean, safe, and well-maintained.
