Job summary

EMBS Recruitment Ltd, in partnership with a leading precision engineering manufacturer, seeks a CNC Turner to join their Maidenhead shop floor as a Setter/Operator. You will set and run a Mori Seiki RL253, producing precision components to tight tolerances from engineering drawings.

Applicants should have CNC turning experience and strong Fanuc controls knowledge, with a readiness to progress within a busy, quality-focused environment. Day shifts, permanent role, with competitive hours.

Qualifications

• Experience in CNC turning, setting and operating machines.
• Strong working knowledge of Fanuc controls.
• Willingness to learn and progress within the business.
• Ability to challenge and improve existing processes.
• Background in precision engineering or advanced manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Set and operate the Mori Seiki RL253 using Fanuc controls.
• Work from engineering drawings to produce components to tight tolerances.
• Carry out in-process inspection to ensure parts meet specification.
• Support wider machine shop as needed and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Maintain safety and quality standards throughout production.
