Job summary

Workforce Staffing in Aylesbury is seeking a CNC Turner Setter Operator to join a precision engineering environment. You will set and operate Fanuc-controlled turning machines to produce quality components to tight tolerances.

The role offers 40 hours per week, with pay between £15 and £17 per hour, plus benefits such as overtime, holidays, pension, and on-site parking.

• Strong experience in CNC turning, including setting and operating.
• Confident using Fanuc-controlled machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring machines are operating efficiently and production targets are met.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.

CNC Turner Setter Operator

Location: Aylesbury

• Pay: £15-£17 per hour
• Working hours: Flexible start and finish times between 6am and 6pm
  40 hours per week

The Opportunity

We are recruiting for a CNC Turner Setter Operator to join an established precision engineering and manufacturing business based in Aylesbury.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced CNC Turner who is confident setting and operating Fanuc-controlled machinery, producing quality components to tight tolerances within a busy manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Setting and operating CNC turning machines using Fanuc controls.
• Manufacturing precision components in batch quantities ranging from 30 to 200 pieces.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings to ensure components meet specifications.
• Inspecting your own work and maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.
• Working to tight tolerances of approximately ±0.01mm.
