Job summary

Optical Precision is seeking a skilled CNC Turner Setter to join our precision engineering team in Sevenoaks. You will set and operate CNC lathes with Fanuc controls, edit programs, and work from engineering drawings to produce precision one-off and small batch components.

The ideal candidate has experience setting and operating CNC lathes, reading drawings, and delivering tight tolerances in a precision manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience editing programs and setting/operating CNC lathes using Fanuc controls.
• Experience in a precision manufacturing environment.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings.

A successful precision engineering company are looking for an experienced CNC Turner Setter to join their team. The company is very successful continuously expanding and supplying precision components to an international client base.

The Role

The company are looking for an experienced CNC Turner, setter, working on Fanuc controls to join their team. The right candidate will be editing programs at the machine working to engineering drawings to provide precision one off and small batch work components.

Duties

• Set and operate CNC Lathes using Fanuc controls
• Machine to tight tolerances
• One off's and small batch work
• Produce components from various aerospace & general engineering

Requirements

• Must have experience editing programs, setting and operating CNC lathes using Fanuc controls.
• Previous experience working within a precision manufacturing environment.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings

Salary and Benefits

£18.00 - £19.00 per hour

Overtime

Days - Monday - Thursday (4 Day Week)
