Job summary

Optical Precision in Richmond is seeking an experienced CNC Turner, Setter and Operator to work on Fanuc-controlled Doosan or Miyano lathes. The role involves editing programs at the machine and producing high-precision one-off and small-batch components from aerospace and exotic materials.

Requirements include setting/operating CNC lathes with Fanuc controls, reading drawings, and prior experience in a high-precision environment. Daily work on days with overtime available.

Qualifications

• Must have experience setting and operating CNC lathes, ideally Doosan or Miyano lathes using Fanuc controls; training can be given if needed.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience in high-precision manufacturing environments.

The Role of CNC Turner, Setter, Operator - Fanuc

The company are looking for an experienced CNC Turner, setter, operator, working on Fanuc controls to join their team. The right candidate will be editing programs at the machine working to engineering drawings to provide high precision one off and small batch work components.

Duties of CNC Turner, Setter, Operator - Fanuc

• Set and operate CNC Doosan or Miyano Lathes using Fanuc controls
• Machine to tight tolerances
• One off's and small batch work
• Produce components from various aerospace & general engineering and exotic materials

Requirements of CNC Turner, Setter, Operator - Fanuc

• Must have experience setting and operating CNC Lathes, ideally, Doosan or Miyano Lathes using Fanuc controls., however training can be given
• Previous experience working within a high precision manufacturing environment.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
