Adecco is recruiting a CNC Turner Programmer / Setter Operator in Washington, Tyne & Wear for a permanent role. You will program, set up and operate CNC turning machinery to produce precision components from initial setup through to completion.

• Experience in CNC turning within a precision engineering environment.
• Strong programming, setting and operating skills.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience in working to tight tolerances and understanding machining processes.

Responsibilities

• Programme, set up, and operate CNC turning machinery.
• Edit and optimise existing programmes for efficiency.
• Produce components adhering to tight tolerances and drawings.
• Select appropriate tooling and workholding solutions.
• Conduct first-off and in-process inspections to maintain quality.
