Job summary

Interaction Technical in Daventry, Northamptonshire, is seeking an experienced CNC Turner Programmer, Setter & Operator to join a skilled machining team. The role offers a permanent, full-time position with a base salary of £35,000–£38,000 and OTE £40,000–£45,000, with overtime paid midweek and weekends.

Hours are early, Monday–Friday, with an early finish each Friday. As a CNC Turner, you will program, set and run Fanuc lathes, producing high-precision components to tight tolerances and reading

Qualifications

• Time-served CNC Turner with programming, setting and operating experience.
• Strong knowledge of Fanuc controls.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience machining exotic alloys.
• Competent using inspection and measuring equipment.
• High attention to detail and ability to work to tight tolerances.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Program, set and operate Fanuc-controlled CNC turning machines.
• Produce precision components to customer specifications.
• Read and interpret 2D engineering drawings.
• Machine a variety of materials including Duplex, Titanium and Hastelloy.
• Inspect and verify components to tight tolerances.
• Conduct in-process and final quality checks.
• Maintain safe working practices and housekeeping standards.
• Support production targets and continuous improvement initiatives.
