Job summary

Quest Technical Ltd recruitment for a CNC Turner Programmer in a high-precision aerospace environment. The role requires 3+ years of hands-on CNC Turner experience, the ability to set and operate, and to understand G-code. Mazatrol or Fanuc experience is essential, with capability to program from technical drawings.

You will read drawings, ensure correct dimensions and finishes, and work with inspection to verify quality. Onsite parking and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Check own work with inspection department.
• Maintain safety and preventive maintenance.

CNC Turner Programmer

We are recruiting for a prismatic machining & mechanical assembly business for the Civil & Military Aerospace Industry. Who specialise in high speed 5 axis soft & hard metal plus composite machining up to 3 metres in length. We are looking for a full time permanent CNC Turner.

Key skills required from the CNC Turner:

• Must have hands on working experience as a CNC Turner min 3 years
• Ability to Set and Operate minimum of 3 years
• Must have the ability to understand the code of the programs in case you need to go in and when loading new tools
• Ability to progam from techncial drawings a major benefit
• Experience with Mazatrol or Fanuc is required
• Ability to read technical drawings
• A background in Aerospace would be a distinct advantage
• Ensure machines set in timely fashion and that dimensions and surface finishes are as required.
• Ability to check own work in conjunction with inspection department
• Maintain safe operations by adhering to H&S regulations and procedures ensuring safe environment for yourself and colleagues
• Maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements and highlighting any issues found.

Working hours:

7.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Thursday - 4 day working week
