Quest Technical Ltd is seeking an experienced CNC Turner for a high-precision engineering environment. The role involves offline CAD/CAM programming, setting up and running CNC turning machines, and interpreting technical drawings to ensure parts meet exact specifications.

Qualifications

  • Must have over 5 years' experience as a CNC Turner.
  • Able to read technical drawings.
  • CAD/CAM experience and programming ability.
  • Extensive turning experience.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication and organisational skills.
  • Team player; Desirable: CMM experience.

Responsibilities

  • Program offline using CAD/CAM and set up CNC turning machinery.
  • Set, program and run CNC lathes.
  • Read drawings and ensure quality of machined parts.
  • Work as part of a precision engineering team in a fast-paced environment.

CNC Turner

Our clients are a AS9100 accredited company, they have been providing forward thinking, modern precision engineering for over 50 years. Specialising in motorsport (F1), aerospace, and medical precision engineering. We are recruiting for an experienced CNC Turner to join this business.

Key skills required of the CNC Turner:
  • Must have over 5 years working expereince as a CNC Turner
  • Ability to read technical drawings
  • CAD / CAM expereince is essential and the ability to program
  • Extensive experience in turning is essential
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills - forward thinking approach
  • Team player
  • Using CMM (Desirable)

The successful CNC Turner must have the ability to program (offline using CAD/CAM), setup and run CNC turning machinery. This role will require a highly skilled individual that can set, program, and run CNC lathes.

Working Hours: 39 hours per week + overtime (at X1.5)
