Job summary

KPJ Group in Stockport is hiring a CNC Turner to join a fast-growing, market-leading manufacturing team. This is a full-time, permanent position with opportunities to grow within the company.

You will set up and operate CNC milling machines, select tools, perform Start of Work inspections, report faults, read engineering drawings, and inspect parts with precision instruments to ensure conformance to specifications.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of running CNC machining centre.
• Experience in fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• NVQ level 2-3 Engineering/Machining or HNC/HND machining apprenticeship desirable.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC milling machines and input CNC programs from network paperwork.
• Select tools, equipment, and materials for machining.
• Perform Start of Work machine inspections before shifts.
• Report machine faults via Maintenance Procedures.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings to ensure parts meet specs.
• Measure and inspect components with precision instruments to spec.
