Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is working with a Gloucester-based precision engineering company recruiting a CNC Turner on a Monday to Friday days basis. The role focuses on Fanuc programming, setting and some operating duties in a tight-knit workshop.

You will enjoy a 12pm finish on Fridays, regular overtime opportunities, and clear training and progression paths as the business continues to grow. The salary is £20–£24 per hour with an OTE around £50,000+.

Qualifications

• Experience programming Fanuc controlled lathes.
• Setting and programming lathes in a precision environment.
• Experience in a subcontract precision workshop is ideal.

Are you a CNC Turner with Fanuc programming experience looking to keep your evenings and weekends free, with a regular days-based routine at an established precision engineering company, a 12pm finish every Friday, a bonus and optional overtime to boost your earnings when it suits you?

This leading precision machining company manufactures key metal components to mainly Marine / Oil and Gas companies however will supply to any industry. After 61 years they are still growing and are looking for a CNC Programmer to join their tight-knit workshop.

In this role you will be responsible for Programming and Setting Fanuc controlled lathes within their workshop. There is also an element of operating however your main duty will be programming lathes. This offers a great work life balance Monday - Thursday (7am-16pm and a 12pm finish on Fridays.

This role would suit a CNC Programmer with experience setting Fanuc controlled lathes looking to work on more exciting precision components within a tight-knit workshop environment.

The Role:

• Programme and set Fanuc controlled lathes
• Some operating to be expected
• Monday - Thursday (7am-4pm) and finish at 12pm Fridays
• Plenty of optional Overtime available

The Person:

• Lathe programmer and setter
• Experience working within a precision subcontractor
