Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a CNC Turner to join a small, independent team in Poole. You will program, set up and operate CNC multi‑axis lathes using Fanuc and Manual Guide systems, delivering precision parts from various materials.

You will work with a supportive team to ensure quality from prototypes through medium batches. The role offers a 4‑day week, a clearly defined salary (£40,000–£48,000; OTE £50K), training, a retention bonus, 32 days holiday and overtime at 1.5x.

Are you a CNC Programmer wanting to learn and grow in an independent company offering full Fanuc training and a 4-day working week?

You will join a team of 3 other programmers in a close-knit, well-established team in Dorset (Based in Poole) continually growing customer base, meaning you will have stability, and the support of a highly experienced team, with a real chance to make a change to the industry.

In this role, you will be responsible for programming, setting and operating CNC multi-axis lathes using Fanuc and Manual Guide systems, manufacturing precision components from a variety of materials, carrying out quality inspections, and managing multiple machines to ensure high-quality production from prototypes through to medium batch runs.

This role will suit a CNC Programmer looking for a great opportunity to learn and grow in the industry.

The Role:

• Programming, setting and operating CNC multi-axis lathes using Fanuc and Manual Guide
• Managing multiple machines while maintaining high-quality standards and an organized workspace
• Monday - Friday (6:30am - 17:00)
