Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is seeking a CNC Turner for a days-based role in Northwich, Cheshire. You will set and operate CNC lathes, interpret engineering drawings, and select tooling to maintain quality across varied projects.

Typically Mon-Thu 8:00–17:00 and Fri 8:00–13:00 with optional overtime. The role offers training on Fanuc controls and a benefits package in a locally respected workshop.

Qualifications

• Experience setting and operating CNC lathes.
• Proficiency with Fanuc controls and turning operations.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and select tooling.

Responsibilities

Are you a CNC Setter/Operator with experience working on Lathes, looking for a days based, Monday to Friday role offering a good work life balance and optional overtime?

Established in 1974, this independent precision engineering specialist manufactures high-quality components for a diverse range of industries, including aerospace, robotics and pharmaceutical. Due to an ever increasing workload they are looking to grow their friendly team.

In this role you, will be responsible for Setting and Operating CNC multi-axis lathes using Fanuc controls. You will work from engineering drawings, select appropriate tooling, monitor machining processes, and carry out quality inspections to ensure components meet industry standards.

This role will suit a CNC Turner who is looking to join an established, local workshop, work on varied projects and have the option to increase your earnings through overtime.

The Role:

• Setting and Operating CNC Lathes
• Managing multiple machines while maintaining high-quality standards and an organized workspace.
• Working Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 5:00pm (Friday 8:00am - 1:00pm)
• Optional overtime
