Job summary

Proactive Global is recruiting a CNC Turner / Miller in Maidenhead for an early shift with a world-leading manufacturer. You will set up, program and operate CNC machines to produce precision components from aerospace and automotive sectors, using engineering drawings.

The role requires Milling or Turning experience, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a commitment to quality and safety in a regulated environment. Training and development opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Experience with Milling or Turning.
• Must be self-sufficient and able to set up and operate multiple machine tools.
• Experience in a precision engineering, aerospace or automotive regulated environment preferred.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Programming, setting and operating CNC machine tools & controls, working with aerospace alloys.
• Responsible for maintaining production output, cycle times & all associated production documentation.
• Perform TPM & 5S duties within the department.
• Support quick turnaround innovation tasks.
• Become an active team member contributing to driving waste elimination and cross-training within department.
• Further opportunities exist to expand skills in CNC Turning and Milling.

CNC Turner / Miller

CNC Turner / Miller Urgently required to work an early shift for a world leading manufacturing organisation based near Maidenhead. Working as part of an experienced team of Machinists you will perform a wide variety of machine shop operations including re-work, miscellaneous precision machining tasks, and maintenance of shop equipment.

We are looking for a skilled Setter's, Operator and programmers of CNC machinery, to set up
and prepare materials and tooling for upcoming jobs, working from engineering drawings to produce
precision spec components for customers from the aerospace and automotive industry.

Requirements:

• Experience with Milling or Turning
• Must be self-sufficient & able to Set and Operate multiple machine tools
• Demonstrable experience in a precision engineering, Automotive, aerospace or other highly regulated production environment preferred
• Good communication skills and able to work as part of a team

CNC Machinist Responsibilities:
