Job summary

Proactive Global is urgently seeking a skilled CNC Turner / Miller near Maidenhead to join an experienced machining team. You will set up, program and operate CNC machines to produce precision components for aerospace and automotive customers.

You will read engineering drawings, maintain production output and documentation, perform TPM and 5S tasks, and have opportunities to expand CNC turning and milling skills within a world-leading manufacturing organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience with Milling or Turning.
• Able to set up and operate multiple machine tools.
• Experience in a precision engineering or regulated environment preferred.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

CNC Turner / Miller

Maidenhead

£ 19-21PH

CNC Turner / Miller Urgently required to work an early shift for a world leading manufacturing organisation based near Maidenhead. Working as part of an experienced team of Machinists you will perform a wide variety of machine shop operations including re-work, miscellaneous precision machining tasks, and maintenance of shop equipment.

We are looking for a skilled Setter's, Operator and programmers of CNC machinery, to set up and prepare materials and tooling for upcoming jobs, working from engineering drawings to produce precision spec components for customers from the aerospace and automotive industry.

Requirements:

• Experience with Milling or Turning
• Must be self-sufficient & able to Set and Operate multiple machine tools
• Demonstrable experience in a precision engineering, Automotive, aerospace or other highly regulated production environment preferred
• Good communication skills and able to work as part of a team

CNC Machinist Responsibilities:

• Programming, setting and operating CNC machine tools & controls working with a variety of aerospace super alloys
• Responsible for maintaining production output, cycle times & all associated production documentation
• Perform TPM & 5S duties within the department
• Support quick turnaround innovation tasks
• Become an active team member contributing to driving waste elimination and cross- training within department
• Further opportunities exist to expand skills in CNC Turning and Milling
