Job summary

Interaction Engineering in Dunstable is seeking an experienced CNC Turner / Miller – Setter / Operator for a permanent role. You will set and run 3-axis CNC turning and milling operations, ensuring components meet exacting specifications and quality standards.

Ideal candidates will have proven CNC setter/operator experience and be comfortable reading engineering drawings; Fanuc knowledge is a plus and manufacturing discipline is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven, time-served experience as CNC Setter/Operator.
• Experience setting and operating 3-axis CNC machines.
• Ability to read and work from engineering drawings.
• Fanuc controls experience is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Set and operate CNC machinery to produce components to specification.
• Maintain high standards of quality and accuracy in output.

CNC Turner / Miller – Setter / Operator

We are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Turner / Miller to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Dunstable.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled CNC Setter / Operator with experience working on 3-axis CNC machinery, within a busy machine shop environment.

The Role

You will be responsible for setting and operating CNC machinery, producing components to specification and maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.

The successful candidate will ideally have experience across both CNC Turning and Milling, with experience of 3-axis machinery.

Key Requirements

• Proven, time-served experience as a CNC Setter / Operator.
• Experience setting and operating 3-axis CNC machines.
• CNC Turning and Milling experience.
• Previous experience working within a machine shop environment.
• Ability to read and work from engineering drawings.
• CNC programming experience would be advantageous, but is not essential.
• Experience with Fanuc controls would be an advantage.
• A reliable, practical and quality-focused approach to work.

Package & Benefits

• Monday–Thursday: 8:00am–5:00pm
• Friday: 8:00am–3:45pm
