Job summary

Optical Precision in Redhill, Surrey, is seeking an experienced CNC Miller/Turner setter and operator to join a high-precision manufacturing environment. You will set up and run a brand-new Mill/Turn machine with Fanuc controls, producing small-batch, tightly toleranced components for aerospace, scientific, and medical sectors.

With full cross-training on the latest equipment, you will read complex drawings, inspect first-off parts, and work as part of a collaborative team to sustain quality and

CNC Miller / Turner, Setter - The Role

As a CNC Mill/Turn Setter & Operator, you will work in a high-tech environment producing low-volume, complex components.

Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Setting and operating our new Mill/Turn machine using Fanuc controls.
• Machining small-batch components from engineering drawings.
• Working to exceptionally tight tolerances for high-integrity industries.
• Conducting first-off inspections to guarantee strict quality standards.
