Job summary

Covington Developments in Coventry is seeking a fully skilled CNC Turner – Setter, Operator and Programmer to join its Turning section. The role offers a permanent full-time position with early finish on Fridays, regular overtime, a company pension and on-site parking.

You will set, program and operate Fanuc-controlled CNC turning machines, interpret drawings, select tooling and verify your own outputs to ensure parts meet strict tolerances.

Qualifications

• Strong CNC turning experience with setting and programming.
• Experience using Fanuc controls and interpreting drawings.
• Ability to measure to tight tolerances with precision equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set, operate and program CNC turning machines to manufacture components.
• Interpret engineering drawings and select tooling, speeds and feeds.
• Inspect own work and maintain production quality and cleanliness.
• Ensure components meet tight tolerances and documentation requirements.
• Maintain safe, efficient machine operation and housekeeping.
