Job summary

Catering in Farnham is seeking an experienced CNC Turner (Fanuc) to join a precision engineering team on a Monday–Friday day shift. You will program, set and operate Fanuc CNC turning machines to manufacture high-precision components to exact specifications.

The role requires strong knowledge of Fanuc controls, the ability to read drawings, and a keen eye for quality. A stable, long-term opportunity with a supportive team and modern workshop is on offer.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CNC Turner.
• Strong working knowledge of Fanuc control systems.
• Ability to programme, set and operate CNC lathes independently.
• Experience working in a precision engineering/manufacturing environment.
• Confident reading of technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Positive attitude and team-focused approach.
• Experience in Aerospace/Formula 1/Defence or other regulated sectors would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Program, set and operate CNC Turning machines using Fanuc controls
• Produce precision components to drawing tolerances and customer specifications
• Carry out first-off and in-process inspection using measuring equipment
• Edit programs and make tooling adjustments to optimise performance
• Read and interpret engineering drawings
• Maintain high standards of quality, accuracy and housekeeping
• Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams to meet delivery targets
