Job summary

Covington Developments is seeking an experienced CNC Turner to join its Turning section in Coventry. You will set, operate and program Fanuc-controlled CNC turning machines to manufacture precision components to tight tolerances.

The role requires reading engineering drawings, selecting tooling, and maintaining high standards with minimal supervision. Offering £17.00-£20.00 per hour, permanent full-time employment, an early finish on Fridays, overtime opportunities, a company pension and on-site

Qualifications

• Strong CNC turning experience.
• Experience setting, operating and programming CNC lathes.
• Good working knowledge of Fanuc controls.
• Ability to read engineering drawings accurately.
• Experience using precision measuring equipment and working to tight tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Set, operate and program CNC turning machines.
• Interpret drawings and job specifications to determine tooling, speeds and feeds.
• Inspect and measure own work to ensure tolerances.
