Job summary

10 Recruitment is seeking a skilled CNC machinist for a permanent, full-time role in Keighley. You will work Monday to Thursday, 2:00 pm–12:30 am, a 40-hour week with a three-day weekend, operating Fanuc CNC mill/turn machinery and reading engineering drawings to produce precision components.

You will perform set-ups, prove-outs and programming edits, troubleshoot issues, and ensure parts meet tight tolerances and quality standards while contributing to the growth of a new machining cell.

Qualifications

• Proven experience programming, setting and operating Fanuc CNC mill/turn machinery.
• Experience machining to tight tolerances in a precision environment.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and set up processes.
• Works independently and troubleshoots issues without supervision.
• Confident with program edits and fixture/tool changes.

Job Overview

Permanent, full-time position. Working pattern Monday to Thursday, 2:00 pm – 12:30 am (late shift). 40-hour week with a three‑day weekend.

Initial training period on day shifts to learn the products and business. Opportunity to play a key role in establishing a new late shift and contribute to the growth of the machine shop team.

Key Responsibilities

Essential Requirements

• Proven experience programming, setting and operating Fanuc CNC mill/turn machinery.

• Experience working from engineering drawings and machining to tight tolerances.
• Confident with machine set‑up, programme editing and process adjustments.
• Comfortable working as the sole machinist on shift.
