Job summary

10 Recruitment is seeking a skilled CNC machinist for a permanent, full-time role in Keighley. You will work Monday to Thursday, 2:00 pm–12:30 am, a 40-hour week with a three-day weekend, operating Fanuc CNC mill/turn machinery and reading engineering drawings to produce precision components.

You will perform set-ups, prove-outs and programming edits, troubleshoot issues, and ensure parts meet tight tolerances and quality standards while contributing to the growth of a new machining cell.

Qualifications

• Proven experience programming, setting and operating Fanuc CNC mill/turn machinery.
• Experience machining to tight tolerances in a precision environment.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and set up processes.
• Works independently and troubleshoots issues without supervision.
• Confident with program edits and fixture/tool changes.

Responsibilities

• Programme, set and operate Fanuc CNC mill/turn machinery from engineering drawings.
• Carry out machine set-ups, prove-outs and program adjustments as required.
• Troubleshoot machining, tooling and programming issues independently.
• Ensure components meet specifications and quality standards.
• Carry out in-process checks and first-off inspections.
• Maintain efficient machine utilisation and support production output.
• Work autonomously on the late shift and manage workload.
• Support continuous improvement of machining processes where possible.
• Ensure all work complies with company procedures and safety rules.
