Job summary

Streamline Search Ltd. is seeking an experienced CNC Turner to join our precision engineering team in Wareham. The role covers programming, setting and operating CNC turning machines to tight tolerances and high-quality components.

Candidate will work with Fanuc controls and Manual Guide, producing prototypes through to medium batch runs, while prioritising safety and efficiency. 4-day week with overtime and bonus opportunities, and 32 days annual leave are offered.

Qualifications

Strong experience programming, setting and operating CNC turning machinery.
Experience with Fanuc and Manual Guide controls.
Experience with CNC multi-axis turning machinery.
Experience with bar-fed CNC lathes.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

Program, set and operate CNC multi-axis turning machinery to manufacture precision components.
Work with Fanuc controls and Manual Guide.
Produce components from prototypes to medium batch runs.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Select tooling, inserts and machining parameters.
Set and change machines independently throughout the day.
Carry out first-off inspections and inspect own work.
Use verniers, micrometres and thread gauges for measurement.
Maintain production, quality and efficiency standards.
