Job summary

3Sixty Talent Management Ltd is recruiting an experienced CNC Turner/Programmer to join a well-established precision engineering business on a permanent late shift. This role involves programming from scratch, setting and operating 2-axis CNC turning machines with minimal supervision.

You will work a four-day working week with every Friday off, handling components from drawing to finished product, including tooling, machining and inspection. Fanuc controls experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience programming, setting and operating 2-axis CNC turning machines.
• Able to write new CNC programmes from scratch at the machine.
• Strong knowledge of G-code programming and inspection.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and adjust tooling for turning components.
• Take components from engineering drawing through to finished product with minimal supervision.
• Perform inspection and verify tolerances on finished parts.
