Job summary

Streamline Search is hiring a skilled CNC Turner / Programmer / Setter / Operator to join its precision engineering workshop in the UK. You will program, set and run 3-axis lathes with live tooling, inspect parts and work to tight tolerances.

Experience with FANUC controls and reading engineering drawings is essential. We offer a stable full-time role, standard hours, and a pension and benefits package including private medical and on-site parking.

Qualifications

• Proven CNC turning experience on 3-axis lathes.
• Strong FANUC programming and in-process set-up.
• Ability to read and interpret detailed drawings.
• Experience working to tight tolerances and quality finishes.
• Knowledge of tooling, speeds and feeds and metrology.

Responsibilities

• Program, set and operate 3-axis CNC lathes with live tooling.
• Develop online and offline FANUC programs.
• Interpret drawings and select tooling, speeds and feeds.
• Set tools, offsets and coordinates and inspect finished parts.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and machine care.
• Collaborate with engineers to resolve manufacturing challenges.
