Job summary

SOUTH WEST RECRUITMENT in Verwood is recruiting a permanent CNC Turner (Fanuc) to manufacture precision components. The role is 39 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 7:30am–4:30pm and Friday 7:30am–12:30pm, with occasional start/finish variations. Up to £23 per hour depending on experience, with onsite parking and pension benefits.

You will run, set and operate CNC turning machines, load tools, read drawings and ensure tight tolerances while maintaining safe practices.

Qualifications

• Time served CNC Turner with Fanuc experience.
• Able to read engineering drawings and interpret tolerances.
• Proven ability to program at the machine control (Fanuc).
• Experience with CNC lathes and manual turning.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work shifts and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Run, set & operate CNC Turning (Lathes) Machine Centres
• Setting tools & producing components
• Loading/unloading of CNC machine tools and fixtures
• Ability to select, set and change tools
• Working on highly technical products to tight tolerances
• Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and policy
• Complete necessary daily documents such as Time Sheets

The successful CNC Turner (Fanuc) will be responsible for the manufacture of quality parts.
