Job summary

Owen Daniels is seeking an experienced CNC Turner at a well-established precision engineering firm in New Milton, Hampshire. The role involves setting, programming and operating CNC turning machines, with manual turning and milling, working from engineering drawings to manufacture high-precision components.

You will read specifications, perform in-process inspections, and ensure quality and safety standards while supporting production targets in a stable, long-term environment.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years' experience as a CNC Turner in a precision engineering environment.
  • Experience with manual turning and milling.
  • Ability to read and work from engineering drawings.
  • Fanuc programming experience is highly desirable.
  • Online programming experience would be advantageous.
  • Knowledge of AS9100, ISO9001 or similar quality standards is beneficial.
  • A strong eye for detail and commitment to producing quality work.
  • Familiar with lean manufacturing principles.

Location: New Milton, Hampshire
Job Type: Permanent | Full Time (37 hours per week)

We're recruiting on behalf of a respected manufacturer that has been producing high-quality precision components for over 60 years.

The Role

You'll be responsible for setting, programming and operating CNC turning machinery while also carrying out manual turning and milling work. Working from engineering drawings, you'll manufacture precision components to tight tolerances and ensure the highest quality standards are maintained throughout production.
