Job summary

Optical Precision in St Albans is seeking an experienced CNC Turner, Setter and Operator to program, set up and run Doosan lathes with Fanuc controls. The role focuses on high-quality, large-batch parts and tight tolerances for automotive-grade nuts and bolts.

You will work a normal daytime shift with overtime opportunities and benefits, contributing to a reputable precision manufacturing team. Candidates should demonstrate hands-on experience, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain

Qualifications

Experience as CNC Turner, Setter/Operator.
Proficient with Fanuc controls.
Experience in large batch machining to tight tolerances.

Responsibilities

Set and operate Doosan CNC lathes using Fanuc controls.
Machining large batch nuts and bolts with Ø30–50 mm steel and ensure quality.
