South West Recruitment Ltd is seeking a CNC Turner for a Ferndown, Dorset facility. The role involves setting up and operating milling machines, with experience on Hurco, Fanuc or Heidenhain controls. Overtime paid at 1.5x and a pension scheme are available.

Qualifications

Experience with Hurco/HMC controls is desirable.
Experience with Fanuc/Heidenhain controls is advantageous.
Setting up and operating milling machines.
Programming experience is a plus.

Set up and operate Hurco/Fanuc/Heidenhain machines as required.
Program and operate milling machines where applicable.
Work as part of a team and on own initiative.
Ensure quality and precision in production work.

Job description

We are recruiting for a CNC Turner for a global manufacturing company in Ferndown, Dorset.

The company produces innovative over wrapping machinery that is supplied to some of the world's biggest names in Confectionery, Cosmetics, Food and Tobacco industries.

Experience with any of Fanuc, Heidenhain or Hurco are all desirable.

£15.00 per hour with regular overtime paid at x1.5

Hours:

39 hours per week, days (Monday - Thursday 7.30am - 4.45pm & Friday 7.30am - 12.30pm)

The Role:

Experience with programming setting/operating Hurco controls desired but not essential.
Experience with Fanuc and Heidenhain would be an advantage as training can be given to transition to a new machine.
Setting tools and operating milling machines
To work as part of a team and on own initiative.
Programming experience would be an advantage but not essential
