Ernest Gordon Recruitment is working with a Bournemouth-based precision engineering company to recruit a CNC Turner for a days-based role on a 4-day week. The position offers overtime, pension, paid breaks and company benefits.

You will set and operate CNC lathes, read engineering drawings, select tooling and monitor machining processes to ensure components meet required standards.

Qualifications

• Experience setting and operating CNC lathes.
• Experience with Fanuc controls.

Are you a CNC Setter/ Operator with experience working on Lathes, looking for a days-based role within a well-established company offering a good work life balance due to working a 4-day week and optional overtime?

Established in 1984, this independent precision specialist manufactures high-quality components for a diverse range of industries, including aerospace, nuclear and automotive. With continued investment in advanced CNC machinery and an ever-increasing workload they are looking to grow their friendly team.

In this role, you will be responsible for Setting and Operating CNC multi-axis lathes using Fanac controls. You will work from engineering drawings, select appropriate tooling, monitor machining processes, and carry out quality inspections to ensure components meet industry standards, working a 4-day week.

This role will suit a CNC Turner who is looking to join an established, local workshop, work on varied projects and have the option to increase your earnings through overtime.
