Job summary

Swift Temps seeks an experienced CNC Turner for a leading precision machinist supplying components to diverse industries in the Coventry area. You will set, program and operate CNC turning machines, manufacturing complex components to tight micrometre tolerances and working with exotic materials.

They are seeking an experienced CNC Turner to join their small team of skilled engineers. Preferably you will be versed in using Star sliding head lathes with Fanuc controls:You will:

• Set, program and operate CNC turning machines
• Manufacture complex components to tight, micron-level tolerances
• Work with exotic and difficult-to-machine materials
• Interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications and GD&T
• Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds and feeds
