Job summary

HRGO Recruitment is seeking an experienced CNC Toolmaker to join a well-established engineering and manufacturing company in Doncaster, DN8. The role involves manufacturing, modifying and maintaining tooling, jigs, fixtures and dies, alongside supporting CNC milling and turning operations in a busy production environment.

Offering a 40-hour week, flexible shifts, and a competitive salary (£16-£18 per hour) with a 3% pension, paid breaks and free onsite parking.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Mechanical Engineering or similar
• Previous experience as a CNC Toolmaker, Toolmaker or CNC Machinist
• CNC milling, turning and grinding experience
• Ability to read engineering drawings
• Strong knowledge of tooling, dies, jigs and fixtures
• Self-motivated, reliable and able to work independently or as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Manufacture, modify and repair tooling, jigs and fixtures
• Set, operate and programme CNC mills and lathes
• Read and interpret engineering drawings
• Carry out preventative maintenance and tooling repairs
• Manufacture replacement components using milling and turning processes
• Maintain quality, health & safety and production standards
