Job summary

Major Recruitment are recruiting an experienced CNC Tooling Machinist to join a busy precision tube manufacturer in Oldbury. You will manufacture, modify, refurbish and maintain tube mill tooling, rolls and fixtures using CNC and conventional equipment.

Working with engineering, maintenance and production, you will interpret drawings, set and operate CNC machines, select tooling and processes, and inspect components to ensure they meet dimensions and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Set and operate CNC machinery.
• Select appropriate tooling and machining processes.
• Inspect finished components for dimensions, tolerances and quality standards.

Responsibilities

Job description

Major Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Tooling Machinist to join a well-established busy precision tube manufacturer in Oldbury.

You will responsible for the manufacture, modification, refurbishment, repair, and maintenance of tube mill tooling, rolls, fixtures, and engineered components using CNC and conventional machining equipment. Working closely with engineering, maintenance, and production teams.

Job Details:

Location: Oldbury
Contract: 12 weeks Temp to Perm
Shift Pattern: 6am till 2pm Monday to Thursday. 6am till 12.15 Fridays
Pay Rate: £13.50-£15 per hour dependant on experienceThe role requires the ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications, set and operate CNC machinery, select appropriate tooling and machining processes, and accurately inspect finished components to ensure they meet required dimensions, tolerances, and quality standards
