Job summary

Tom Orange Recruitment Ltd is seeking a dynamic Team Leader to oversee daily operations for a team of 8 CNC machinists across 2 shifts. The role requires strong management and communication skills to drive production performance and supervise staff.

You will monitor workflow, coach operators, uphold quality and safety standards, and contribute to continuous improvement within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Mon-Fri 07:45–16:45, on-site in the United Kingdom.

Qualifications

• Previous management or supervisory experience in production/manufacturing.
• CNC machining experience including programming.
• Proven ability to lead diverse teams.
• Strong organisational, quality and administrative skills.

Responsibilities

• Organise workflow to maximise production efficiency and meet targets.
• Ensure First Off checks and quality documentation are completed on time.
• Maintain high health and safety standards and 5S practices.
• Train operators and maintain training records.
