Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment is seeking a CNC Supervisor / Team Leader in Hastings, East Sussex. The role focuses on guiding CNC machinists, maintaining production flow, and driving safety, quality and delivery standards in a precision environment.

You will coordinate workloads, troubleshoot machining issues, and support onboarding and skills development. The position offers leadership responsibility with progression opportunities in a well-established engineering manufacturer.

Qualifications

• Strong CNC machining background (setting, operating, troubleshooting)
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T
• Experience leading a small team and coordinating workloads

Responsibilities

• Supervise CNC machinists and operators across setup, tooling, workholding and inspection
• Coordinate daily priorities to hit production schedules
• Troubleshoot machining, tooling and programming issues and drive corrective actions
• Drive continuous improvement (setup reduction, tooling optimization, efficiency) and maintain 6S standards
• Lead and mentor the team, support onboarding and skills development
