Job summary

Optima UK Inc Ltd in Mansfield is recruiting an experienced CNC Sliding Head Machinist. The role involves setting and operating Citizen or Star sliding head machines to manufacture precision components to tight tolerances, with reading of engineering drawings and tooling offsets.

Qualifications

Experience as a CNC Sliding Head Machinist with ability to set and operate sliding head machines.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and tight tolerances.
Experience performing quality inspections with precision measuring equipment.

Responsibilities

Setting and operating CNC sliding head machines (Citizen/Star).
Manufacture precision components to tight tolerances.
Read drawings and perform tooling changes and offsets.
Carry out quality inspections and ensure parts meet standards.
Identify improvements to machining efficiency and maintain health and safety.
