Hawk 3 Talent Solutions is recruiting for a well-established manufacturing business in the Dudley area. The CNC Operator/Setter/Programmer role requires setting, programming, and operating CNC lathes to drawing specifications within a precision engineering environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' CNC machining experience within turning/lathe environments.
• Strong CNC programming and machine-setting experience (G-code).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience using precision measuring equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up CNC machines, load materials, and secure workpieces.
• Install and adjust tooling, fixtures, and cutting tools.
• Carry out tool offsets and verify machining setups.
• Programme, set, and operate CNC lathes to engineering drawings/specifications.
• Monitor machining performance and optimise processes where required.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and make adjustments efficiently.
