Job summary

We are recruiting for an experienced CNC Lathe Programmer to join a leading manufacturer of precision components in the Dudley area. This hands‑on role involves setting, operating and programming CNC lathes, including twin‑spindle and multi‑bar feed systems to support high‑quality production.

You will programme and run CNC lathes to produce components to engineering specifications, perform machine setup, tooling adjustments and quality checks, and support continuous improvement on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Strong CNC programming skills (G-code essential).
• CNC setting and operating experience.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
• Skilled in precision measuring instruments.

Responsibilities

• Set up CNC lathes, load materials, secure workpieces and install tooling/fixtures.
• Programme, set and operate CNC lathes using G-code.
• Inspect components and carry out in-process checks to maintain quality.
