Job summary

We can SolviT Recruitment LTD are seeking a CNC Setter/Operator in Hinckley (LE9) for a busy, down-to-earth company that works on complex jobs to tight tolerances. There are opportunities for both Turners and Millers.

Roles involve operating and learning to set, with potential progression to writing Fanuc programmes. Shifts are 39 hours per week with two options, and pay ranges from £13.50 to £19.50 per hour DOE. Excellent facilities and job security are highlighted.

Qualifications

• Experience as CNC setter/operator.
• Able to load pre-set programmes and perform first off inspections.
• Knowledge of setting and operating CNC machines is essential.
• Fanuc controls programming experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set CNC machines as required.
• Load pre-set programmes and set all aspects of the job.
• Carry out first off inspections and ensure tolerances are met.
• Develop skills and progress from setter to operator as appropriate.
