Cosworth Group Holdings Limited in Northampton is seeking a skilled CNC Setter Operator to produce high-precision crankshafts, camshafts and other engine components for leading super and hyper car manufacturers.

You will set up, operate and monitor CNC machines, read and edit NC programs, perform quality checks, and contribute to safety, quality and continuous improvement. This is an on-site, fixed-term role with early/late shifts and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience as a CNC Setter Operator in automotive or aerospace.
• Able to read, interpret and communicate technical drawings.
• Competence with tool setting equipment.
• Strong problem-solving and forward-thinking mindset.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines for high-precision components.
• Read, interpret, and edit CNC programs to ensure smooth production.

• Maintain communication with the team and report operational issues promptly.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in methods and tooling.
