Job summary

Watson-Marlow Limited, part of the Spirax Group, operates a busy machine shop in Falmouth to produce high‑quality machined components for critical sectors. You will set and run CNC machines, ensuring products meet tight specifications while supporting continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within a skilled team.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment with a machine shop.
• Engineering qualification and/or CNC turning experience.
• Attention to detail and a willingness to drive process improvements.
• Ability to mentor and train apprentices and operators.

Responsibilities

• Set and operate CNC equipment to manufacture components to spec.
• Work with the team to maximise machine utilisation and production performance.
• Promote health and safety practices in the machine shop.
• Collaborate with production to meet plans and customer requirements.
• Identify and implement best practice improvements and TPM activities.
