Job summary

Artemis Clarke Ltd in Hoo, Rochester, Kent is recruiting a CNC Setter Operator. After training on days, the role will work rotating shifts. You will set and operate CNC lathes and machining centres using Fanuc and Mitsubishi controls.

Qualifications

• CNC operation experience and handling of typical controls.
• Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings.
• Good literacy and numeracy skills; computer literate.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment and 5S knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathes and machining centres.
• Perform machine changeovers and production runs with tight tolerances.
• Program modifications based on drawings and component demand.
• Record quality and production data during manufacture.
• Follow 5S and maintain clean work areas.
• Supervise in absence of supervisor and train others.
• Prioritise and manage own workload.
