Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced CNC Setter/Operator in Shirley, England. The role covers setting and operating manual and CNC centre lathes, with responsibility for program input, machining and self-inspection of bespoke tooling and components.

The position is days-based with 39 hours per week, offering flexible hours and potential part-time arrangements to support a healthy work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' machining experience.
• Experience in manual turning and CNC setting/operating.
• Confident with engineering drawings, tolerances and inspecting own work.

Responsibilities

• Setting and operating manual and CNC centre lathes.
• Program input, machining and self-inspection.
• Producing bespoke tooling blanks and one-off components.
• Workshop-based, days-only role with 39 hours per week.
• Flexible hours between 07:30 and 17:30, with part-time considered.
