Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is partnering with an innovative Bedford-based company to recruit a skilled CNC Setter for high-precision components. The role covers programming, setting and operating 3-, 4- and 5-axis CNC milling machines, reading complex drawings and applying GD&T, with a 38-hour week on day shifts.

The ideal candidate has experience with CNC setting/operation and a good grasp of machining processes; Heidenhain controls are desirable and training can be provided.

Qualifications

• Experience with CNC setting and operation.
• Strong understanding of machining processes.
• High level of attention to detail.
• Experience with Heidenhain controls desirable; training available.

Responsibilities

• Programming, setting, and operating 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC milling machines.
• Working from detailed engineering drawings and applying GD&T principles.
• Operating multiple machines to meet production schedules.
• Monday to Friday, days-based (38 hours per week).
