Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment is seeking an experienced CNC Setter / Operator for a South Birmingham-based role within an established cutting tool manufacturer. The position offers days-based work, 39 hours a week, and a competitive salary.

You will set and operate manual and CNC centre lathes, input programs, machine parts, and inspect your own work, producing bespoke tooling blanks and one-off components. Flexible hours and progression possible.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' machining experience.
• Experience with manual turning and CNC setting/operating.
• Able to read engineering drawings and tolerances.
• Capable of inspecting own work and working independently.

• Daytime, workshop-based role, 39 hours per week.

Are you an experienced CNC setter / operator looking for a stable, days-based role?

Join an established cutting tool manufacturer producing specialist tooling and bespoke components, where no two jobs are the same.

You'll work within a small, close-knit team, taking ownership of jobs from program input through to final inspection.
